The body of Christ works together, each part supplying for without support of those at home, and those business who assist with practical needs of the ministry we would be unfruitful.
JESUS CARES is a community of people who give of themselves to reach out to the lost, homeless and hurting people of our city with The Good News of Jesus, who give their time and energy and finances in the service of the Lord.
Would you like to help?
Please pray for us - tell a friend about what we do. We depend on the spiritual resources of many wonderful people who back us in prayer as well as words of encouragement, care, and of course with financial and other resources.

Volunteers Fellowship Night

ALL WELCOME - bbq provided.
Held every quarterly it is a great opportunity to meet and fellowship with other volunteers, families and friends in a relaxed atmosphere. A volunteer is honored at each gathering. We do this by giving of a gift voucher or present. There will be testimonies, praise & worship followed by prayer. RSVP

Our aim is for Christians to connect with the heart of God and his people through this unique ministry.
If you would like to become involved, there is something in Jesus Cares you can do. We need volunteers in the following areas:

We welcome Church / Youth groups (under 18 must be accompanied by adult) to experience ministering to the homeless. It is a great opportunity to find out your gifting. There is a bbq for our street friends on the last Sunday of each month @ 3pm. It is a great opportunity to build relationships with them.
Then, of course we have what we call "front line ministry" on the streets of Sydney reaching out to drug addicts, prostitutes, the spiritually poor and needy with love and compassion as JESUS showed. Become a "Shepherd of the Streets" through Christ.
"The Son of Man came eating and drinking and they say; 'Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and "sinners" But wisdom is proved her actions. MATTHEW 11: 19.
Being involved with Jesus Cares can be contagious. We have great fellowship amongst the volunteers- a sense of belonging to something different. Jesus runs Jesus Cares Ministry-we firmly believe in the servanthood of Jesus. We try to do what He would do and go where He would go. Our hope is that every one has a sense of belonging in His Ministry. For more details:
